Echocardiographer

Job Description

The Echocardiographer will be responsible for performing non-invasive echocardiography tests to diagnose cardiovascular diseases. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiograms and assess for any abnormalities.
• Participate in patient consultations and follow-up care discussions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of echocardiography protocols and techniques.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for accurate diagnostics.
• Participate in quality assurance and safety programs.
• Educate patients on upcoming procedures and care.
• Assist in managing patient flow and scheduling tests effectively.
• Conduct regular checks on equipment functionality and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography setting

• Team Player

Certifications

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• PACS Experience: Familiarity with PACS systems for image management.
