Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Minneapolis. You will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for a range of projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems, components, and assemblies for new products.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for electrical projects.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical components.
• Perform testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and design records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Master’s degree is highly desirable

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering roles

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification desirable

• Familiarity with Electrical Safety Standards: Understanding of electrical safety standards including NEC and UL.
