Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes in Philadelphia. This role will require a combination of analytical skills and engineering expertise to streamline operations and boost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and redesign workflows to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Manage projects aimed at increasing production performance.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address product quality issues.
• Train team members in new engineering systems and practices.
• Benchmark performance against industry standards.
• Engage with suppliers and manufacturers to improve supply chain processes.
• Coordinate with IT for the integration of new systems.
• Lead initiatives to reduce waste and enhance sustainability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in process improvement

Certifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
