Job Description

We are seeking a talented Social Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to conduct research, analyze data, and provide recommendations that drive important social initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research methodologies and the ability to present findings in a clear and impactful manner.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project management for research initiatives.
  • Write proposals and secure funding for research projects.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to refine research methodologies.
  • Create training materials for staff on data collection techniques.
  • Analyze longitudinal data to track societal changes over time.
  • Build relationships with academic and research institutions.
  • Utilize GIS tools for spatial data analysis.
  • Engage in public speaking opportunities to disseminate research findings.
  • Develop and maintain research databases.
  • Evaluate the impact of social programs through analysis of outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Sociology, Psychology, or related field
  • Ph.D. in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in applied social research
Technical Skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent
