Teaching Assistant

Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom activities for preschool, elementary, middle, and secondary school students. This position involves assisting teachers with class preparations, supporting students during lessons, and helping create a positive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction by working with small groups of students.
• Assist teachers in the execution of lesson plans and activities.
• Participate in meetings with staff to discuss student needs and progress.
• Track student attendance and engagement levels.
• Aid in creating an inclusive classroom environment for all students.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or similar
• Valid teaching or educational assistant certification

Experience

• Experience with special needs students is a plus.
