Job Description

As an Interrelated Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored instruction to students with diverse learning abilities. Your collaboration with educators, parents, and specialists will ensure effective educational plans designed to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess students and develop tailored educational plans with IEP goals.
  • Implement instructional strategies to engage students in their learning process.
  • Constantly track and report students' progress ensuring adjustments in teaching methods.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to advocate for students' needs.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to support student learning.
  • Maintain compliance with special education laws and regulations.
  • Attend training and workshops to enhance skills in special education.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in special education
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies
  • Behavior management techniques
Soft Skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills
Certifications
  • Additional training in evidence-based interventions
Languages
  • English: Fluent
