Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Lifeguards and Ski Patrol members who are ready to respond to emergencies on the slopes. As a certified ski patroller, you'll provide medical assistance and promote skier safety, ensuring a secure environment for all resort visitors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for all skiers and snowboarders.
• Monitor slope conditions and maintain awareness of potential hazards.
• Engage in public education regarding safety practices.
• Respond to emergencies swiftly while maintaining calm.
• Collaborate with other emergency responders when necessary.
• Document all incidents and maintain accurate reports.
• Attend regular training sessions on first aid and rescue techniques.
• Assist management in improving safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Certification as a ski patroller from a recognized organization

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a related role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of avalanche safety
• Radio communication skills

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Customer service

Certifications

• Outdoor Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Skills in engaging guests and educating them about safety: Experience in customer engagement and educational initiatives.
• Previous roles in recreation management or safety: Background in roles related to safety and recreation management.
