Do you have a knack for creating stunning braided styles? We are looking for a Braider who can consult with clients to understand their desires and execute beautiful hairstyles while providing exceptional customer service. This role is vital in ensuring our salon remains a favorite in the community.

Responsibilities

• Utilize different braiding materials, including extensions and natural hair.
• Assist clients in selecting the right hairstyle that suits their needs.
• Participate in ongoing training and workshops to enhance braiding skills.
• Handle client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Create a portfolio of braided styles to showcase skills and attract new clients.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a braiding course or certification is advantageous

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience as a professional braider in a salon setting

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in various braiding techniques (e.g., cornrows, box braids)
• Knowledge of hair products and care techniques

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with diverse hair types and textures: Experience in working with a variety of hair types, including curly, straight, and textured hair.
