Job Description

The Before and After School Site Director oversees the daily operations and programming designed for children. This role is vital in ensuring the program meets the diverse needs of children and their families, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging activities and learning experiences for children aged 5-12.
  • Perform staff evaluations and provide mentorship to educators within the program.
  • Coordinate special events and field trips to enrich the program offerings.
  • Prepare and manage program communications, including newsletters and updates.
  • Keep records of attendance and implement tracking systems for program participation.
  • Ensure staff training in First Aid and CPR certification as per state guidelines.
  • Monitor daily operations and ensure effective check-in/out procedures.
  • Gather feedback from parents and children to improve program quality.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in education or related field
Experience
  • At least 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in childcare management.
