Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plating Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our dedicated team in Detroit. The ideal candidate will have experience in chrome plating, coupled with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate plating lines and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the flow of materials through the plating process.
• Ensure all plating finishes meet customer specifications.
• Assist with the maintenance of production equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to optimize workflow.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certification in plating technology is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in metal finishing or plating.

Technical Skills

• Metal Finishing Processes
• Maintaining Equipment

• Problem-solving
• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Analytical Equipment: Experience with tools like spectrometers and other quality control devices.
• Ability to Lead a Small Team: Experience in mentoring or supervising other operators.
