Join our team as a Belt Changer, responsible for the regular replacement and repair of conveyor belts. This role demands physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and replace conveyor belts to ensure optimal functionality.
• Identify problems and propose effective solutions during maintenance checks.
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime during repairs.
• Document all repairs and service activities for compliance purposes.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in emergency repairs to restore conveyor systems promptly.
• Train new employees on proper belt-changing techniques.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support colleagues in achieving operational efficiency goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certificate in machinery maintenance is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years experience in machinery maintenance and repair

Technical Skills

• Ability to read technical drawings
• Proficient in hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving abilities
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Forklift certification a plus

Advantageous

• Experience with welding and fabrication: Familiarity with metalworking techniques and tools.
• Understanding of electrical systems: Knowledge of basic electrical maintenance and repairs.
