In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws, and advising clients on tax-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in tax software, and a passion for helping clients maximize their tax savings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns and related documents.
• Conduct thorough research and stay informed on state and federal tax changes.
• Advise clients on potential risks and opportunities in their tax strategies.
• Provide training and updates to staff regarding best practices in tax compliance.
• Assist with the development of internal tax process manuals.
• Evaluate and implement tax software for efficiency improvements.
• Communicate effectively with client inquiries and tax notifications.
• Enhance client data security practices for sensitive financial information.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Advanced degree (Master's) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on tax experience
