Job Description

We are in search of a reliable and experienced Roll On Man to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with efficiently loading and unloading cargo onto roll-off trucks, ensuring that everything is secured for transport. Applicants should possess physical strength and a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to operate heavy machinery with safety.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload different types of cargo onto roll-off trucks efficiently.
• Utilize straps or chains to secure cargo effectively.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of trucks and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed.
• Ensure adherence to all company safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors to improve loading processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift.
• Document cargo movements accurately for inventory control.
• Report any mechanical issues to maintenance promptly.
• Assist in training new employees on loading procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in transportation or logistics preferred

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation

• Communication Skills

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
