Job Description

As a Health Specialties Teacher, specializing in anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in educating medical students and other healthcare professionals. You will design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive educational programs, fostering a learning environment aimed at developing competent healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative curricula and teaching strategies in anesthesiology.
  • Evaluate and adapt educational programs based on student performance and feedback.
  • Provide hands-on training to students in clinical settings.
  • Develop relationships with healthcare organizations for practical training opportunities for students.
  • Facilitate discussions and simulate clinical scenarios to enhance learning.
  • Monitor and assess student involvement and engagement during classes and clinical rotations.
  • Participate in faculty meetings to align educational objectives with institutional goals.

Requirements

Education
  • MD or DO with a strong focus on Anesthesiology education.
  • Advanced degree in Education is a plus.
Experience
  • Strong background in medical education and at least 5 years in an academic role.
