Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Health Aide to support our health initiatives aimed at identifying and mitigating environmental hazards. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and executing assessments to enhance public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine assessments and inspections to identify risks.
• Collect and analyze samples for laboratory tests.
• Evaluate health hazards and propose recommendations for safety.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders for effective health promotion.
• Ensure adherence to standards and regulations during inspections.
• Deliver environmental health educational programs to various audiences.
• Keep detailed logs of inspections and findings.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Environmental Health or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• Experience in emergency response or disaster management is a plus

Technical Skills

• Database Management Software (e.g., Access, Oracle)
• Lab Equipment Usage

Certifications

• Environmental Health Specialist Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
