Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Epidemiologist to join our public health team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and providing insights on disease trends. Your work will play a crucial role in disease prevention and health promotion initiatives in the Baltimore area.

Responsibilities

  • Perform disease outbreak investigations to identify sources and transmission pathways.
  • Engage with community leaders to promote public health awareness.
  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings for policy recommendations.
  • Utilize statistical software for data analysis and visualization.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance public health research.
  • Present findings to public health officials and at conferences.
  • Develop educational materials for communities and health professionals.
  • Conduct training sessions for data collection and analysis.
  • Monitor environmental factors affecting public health.
  • Assess public health policies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology or Public Health
  • PhD in Epidemiology is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health research
