Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Histotechnician to join our healthcare laboratory team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in preparing and analyzing tissue samples, ensuring quality and accuracy in every aspect of histological procedures. You'll collaborate closely with pathologists and other healthcare professionals, making a significant impact on patient diagnostics and research efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct histological processing and sectioning of tissues.
• Utilize advanced staining methods for diagnostic purposes.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding patient specimens.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory protocols.
• Provide support during laboratory inspections and accreditations.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Histotechnology or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Histotechnician in a clinical or research laboratory.
