Job Description

As a Claims Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team of claims adjusters to effectively investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with company policies while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the claims team.
  • Review claims for compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between adjusters and management to improve workflow.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop training programs to keep the team updated on best practices and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer service experiences.
  • Monitor team metrics and set performance targets.
  • Prepare and present departmental reports to upper management.
  • Resolve escalated claims efficiently and effectively.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master's degree or further certifications in insurance is a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in insurance claims
