Job Description

The Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders play a critical role in our manufacturing processes. As part of a focused team, you will operate miter grinding machines to shape and grind metal components precisely. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount, as you work to meet production deadlines while ensuring the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate miter grinding machines for processing metal components.
• Interpret engineering drawings to determine grinding specifications and requirements.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot any equipment malfunction.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following established safety protocols.
• Meet production quotas, working in collaboration with other operators.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding production progress.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss operational improvements.
• Contribute ideas for process enhancement to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and maintaining miter grinding machines.
