As a Wet End Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the wet end operations, managing a dedicated team, and enhancing production efficiency. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong background in paper and pulp manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Lead the wet end operations, overseeing daily functions and maintaining compliance with quality standards.
Conduct regular equipment checks and coordinate preventive maintenance.
Ensure all production processes adhere to established protocols and standards.
Engage with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiencies.
Analyze production data to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the wet end process.
Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead root cause analysis for quality failures and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
Master's degree is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in paper and pulp manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
