Job Description

As a Wet End Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the wet end operations, managing a dedicated team, and enhancing production efficiency. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong background in paper and pulp manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the wet end operations, overseeing daily functions and maintaining compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and coordinate preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure all production processes adhere to established protocols and standards.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Analyze production data to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the wet end process.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality failures and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in paper and pulp manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
