Job Description

The Secondary School Registrar plays a vital role in managing the integrity of student records and ensuring compliance with educational regulations. This position involves overseeing student enrollment processes, coordinating course schedules, and managing transcript distribution efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the student registration process, including enrollments, transfers, and withdrawals.
  • Create and maintain accurate student records, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Coordinate course scheduling and maintain up-to-date class rosters.
  • Prepare and distribute official student transcripts and report cards.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to support academic activities.
  • Assist in developing policies regarding student records and compliance.
  • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding student records from parents and staff.
  • Utilize student information systems for data management.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of student records and associated documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or related field
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a school administration role or student record management.
