Broadcast Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Broadcast Technician to support our broadcasting operations. In this position, you will maintain equipment, assist in the planning of live broadcasts, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain broadcast systems and equipment.
• Ensure seamless operation of all broadcasting systems, including video servers, encoders, and transmission equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for live events and broadcasts.
• Monitor broadcast quality and take corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Technology or related field

Experience

• 2+ years in broadcast operations or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Signal processing
• Broadcast scheduling software

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Experience in live production environments: Hands-on experience in high-pressure live broadcast environments.
• Familiarity with FCC regulations: Knowledge of broadcasting standards and compliance with regulations.
