Job Description

The Cardiovascular Technologist will perform non-invasive diagnostic tests and procedures to evaluate heart and lung function. This role involves working under the supervision of physicians and requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of cardiopulmonary function.
  • Utilize electronic medical records for documentation and data management.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnostic tests and health management.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to procedures.
  • Provide support and training to junior staff members.
  • Assist with research initiatives in cardiopulmonary healthcare.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS)
Experience
  • Experience with a broad range of diagnostic testing procedures.
