Job Description

As a Social and Human Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in nursing homes and community centers. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing group activities designed to engage and uplift our residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging group programs for residents, tailoring activities to meet individual needs.
• Build relationships with residents to foster a welcoming environment.
• Track and report on activity participation and impact.
• Assist with transportation arrangements for events and outings.
• Contribute to promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in activities or recreation therapy is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
