Corrective Therapy Aide

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Corrective Therapy Aide, where you'll assist skilled therapists in providing essential care to patients. Your ability to engage with patients and contribute to their recovery will make a significant impact on their rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining equipment used in therapy.
• Support patients according to personalized therapy plans.
• Document therapy sessions and report observations to therapists.
• Engage with patients to promote a positive therapy environment.
• Assist in light administrative tasks related to patient care.
• Ensure all equipment is sanitized and safe for patient use.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or from an accredited healthcare program is preferred.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare role preferred.

Technical Skills

• Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems
• Word Processing

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Spanish: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Spanish: Ability to communicate with a diverse patient population.
