Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Mental Health and Substance Abuse Social Workers to provide counseling and support to individuals in a group home setting. Ideal candidates will have experience in developing treatment plans and facilitating group therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to determine clients' mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their concerns.
  • Work with community organizations to provide resources and referrals.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies.
  • Provide education on mental health topics during group sessions.
  • Engage in case management duties as assigned, including follow-up and support.
  • Develop workshops for skill building and personal development.
  • Assist in research and evaluation of program effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience providing counseling services in a related field

Certifications
