Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Ophthalmic Medical Technologist. The selected candidate will assist ophthalmologists in providing top-notch care, utilizing diagnostic tests and equipment to treat eye conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual acuity, tonometry, and retinal imaging tests.
  • Assist with laser treatments and injections.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities within the department.
  • Contribute to research initiatives and clinical trials in ophthalmology.

Requirements

Education
  • Certifications in Ophthalmic Technology from JCAHPO
  • Experience with EMR systems is a plus
Experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience preferred
