Job Description

The Wet End Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing wet end operations in our production facility. This role includes monitoring production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading a team of operators to achieve production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily wet end operations to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to wet end staff, promoting a positive team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot production problems and facilitate problem-solving sessions for the team.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends to implement best practices into operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wet end operations, preferably in the paper and pulp industry.
