Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer to manage and oversee public works projects for our local government. The successful candidate will bring expertise in project management, engineering design, and budgeting to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage public works projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Plan and design infrastructure projects, including roads, water, sewage systems, and public buildings.
• Provide technical support to other departments within the local government.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential problems and issues.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors and engineers to facilitate project execution.
• Implement sustainable practices in all engineering projects.
• Ensure all projects meet safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is highly desirable

Experience

• 7 years of experience in civil engineering roles, preferably within public works.
