Children\'s Minister

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children's Minister to lead and oversee all aspects of our children's ministry program. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and be committed to fostering their spiritual growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute age-appropriate curriculum to enrich the spiritual lives of children.
• Train volunteers to help run various children's ministry activities.
• Conduct regular evaluations of the ministry programs to improve effectiveness and impact.
• Facilitate family involvement in children's ministry to strengthen the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Divinity, Theology, Christian Education, or related field (preferred)
• Ordination or credentials in ministry leadership (preferred)

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in children's ministry or a related field is required.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Database Management Software

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and listening abilities
• Empathy and understanding towards children

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in event planning and coordination: Ability to organize and execute engaging events for children and families.
• Familiarity with child psychology and counseling: Knowledge of child development principles that support effective ministry practices.
