Job Description

The Summer Sessions Director will lead the planning and execution of all summer programming. This includes overseeing curriculum development, staff recruitment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and a passion for enhancing student experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of summer sessions, including scheduling and staffing.
  • Develop engaging educational activities that meet student needs.
  • Monitor program operations and address any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with community partners to enhance program offerings.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Manage participant enrollment and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare reports on program outcomes and budget expenditures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in camp or program management.
