We are currently seeking a highly skilled Driver Retraining Instructor to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of defensive driving techniques and a passion for educating individuals on safe driving practices. You will be responsible for conducting training sessions for clients who have been mandated by the court or who wish to improve their driving skills. Your role will be pivotal in promoting road safety and providing the necessary support for individuals to develop responsible driving habits.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interactive training sessions that incorporate both theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
• Use assessment tools to accurately evaluate students’ driving abilities and provide tailored guidance.
• Conduct refresher courses and workshops on defensive driving techniques and safety protocols.
• Prepare clients for successful completion of court-related retraining requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe training environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated with local and national traffic laws and changes in driver education policy.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that supports client improvement and confidence.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree or higher in education or a related field
• Driver Education Instructor License

Experience

• Preferred experience in adult education or specialized driver training programs
