Job Description

Join our team as an Undercoater, where your primary responsibility will be to prepare surfaces and apply undercoating materials. This position is vital for preventing corrosion and ensuring our projects are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities

• Apply primer to various substrates using appropriate tools.
• Prepare surfaces for coating application by sanding or cleaning.
• Maintain equipment and tools, including cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment as required.
• Work within a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Communicate with project managers to ensure quality results.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in undercoating or a related field preferred.

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate spray guns and brushes
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability

Advantageous

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings: Skills in understanding project specifications.
