Job Description

As a Transit Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers across our network. Your role is crucial in ensuring that riders have a secure and comfortable experience while adhering to schedules and routes.

Responsibilities

• Operate public transportation vehicles with care and professionalism.
• Stay informed of the traffic conditions and adjust routes accordingly.
• Engage with passengers and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide assistance to passengers with disabilities, adhering to ADA regulations.
• Implement safety measures and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Foster open communication with passengers and colleagues.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a transit operator training program preferred

Experience

• Previous customer service experience is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Cash Handling
• GPS Navigation Systems

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in cash and fare collection: Background in handling cash transactions accurately.
