Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Railroad Fireman to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for preventing, controlling, and extinguishing fires that may occur on trains or along railway premises. Your efforts will ensure the safety of passengers and crew, making your position crucial to our operations. Responsibilities

  • Engage in regular safety meetings to review current practices.
  • Conduct investigations into fire incidents and accidents.
  • Participate in community outreach regarding fire safety awareness.
  • Serve as an on-scene leader during emergency situations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment readiness.
  • Implement strategies for continuous improvement in fire safety.
  • Document and prepare reports on training sessions conducted.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in firefighting or emergency response
Technical Skills
  • Fire Safety Regulations
  • First Aid and CPR
Soft Skills

  • Leadership
Certifications
  • Firefighter I Certification
  • Hazardous Materials Operations Certification (preferred)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
