Responsibilities

• Create and manage IEPs for students with diverse educational needs.
• Facilitate collaboration among special and general education staff.

• Monitor and report on student progress using data-driven assessments.
• Engage in positive behavioral support strategies.
• Communicate effectively with families to foster partnerships.
• Leverage technologies and materials to enhance learning opportunities.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for staff on inclusive practices.
• Stay informed about developments in special education legislation.
• Nurture a supportive classroom environment promoting respect and understanding.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a closely related field
• Master's degree in Education preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant teaching experience

Certifications
