Job Description

As a Bridge and Lock Tender, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safe operations at railway crossings and ensuring the smooth passage of trains. In this position, you will help manage train schedules, assist passengers, and maintain operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machines for various woodworking tasks.
• Ensure safety measures are enforced throughout the operation.
• Conduct quality checks on dimensional accuracy of wood products.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to maintain production standards.
• Assist in training new operators on machinery use and safety protocols.
• Manage the scheduling of machine maintenance and repairs.
• Support inventory management by tracking materials and supplies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Assist with other woodworking tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in operating woodworking machinery

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CNC Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus.
