Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team in Detroit. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical design, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
• Conduct performance analysis and simulations to validate designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product development.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports on project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development

Technical Skills

• Ansys
• CAD Software

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with IoT systems: Experience with Internet of Things technologies is a plus.
