Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team in Detroit. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical design, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed design specifications, drawings, and models.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to facilitate the production of components.
  • Evaluate project timelines and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in design reviews to assess potential improvements.
  • Apply analytical methodologies to predict performance outcomes.
  • Assist in the development of prototypes for testing and evaluation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
