Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team in Detroit. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical design, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for new products.
• Assess technical risks and devise mitigation strategies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Review and analyze test results to improve designs.
• Engage with clients to understand project requirements.
• Stay updated with new technologies and industry advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development

Technical Skills

• Ansys
• CAD Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
