Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at Engineering Solutions Group, you will have the opportunity to take part in the design and development of transportation systems, water resources, and urban infrastructure. This role requires analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges in the engineering process. You will play a key role in enhancing community infrastructure and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee various civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and water supply systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess project viability.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor construction progress and provide technical advice to project teams.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to facilitate project delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering or related field

• AutoCAD
• Civil 3D

Certifications

• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
• American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) membership

Languages

• English: Fluent
