Job Description

As a Post Tensioning Ironworker Helper, you will assist skilled ironworkers in the construction, installation, and maintenance of post-tensioning systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective tensioning of cables and rods, contributing to the integrity of construction projects. Your support will facilitate the team in executing tasks efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Help with the assembly and dismantling of post-tensioning equipment.
• Prepare and transport materials such as steel cables and concrete forms.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Support ironworkers with the tensioning of cables and rods.
• Conduct site inspections to identify safety hazards and report them.
• Keep job sites organized and secure.
• Document work activities and progress accurately.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Hands-on experience with post-tensioning systems will be an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Experience operating construction machinery
• Knowledge of post-tensioning techniques

Soft Skills

• Strong work ethic
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
