Electronic Design Automation Engineer (EDA Engineer)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electronic Design Automation Engineer to enhance our engineering team. In this role, you'll be involved in designing and implementing sophisticated design automation tools that streamline chip design processes. You’ll collaborate closely with verification engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design high-level automation tools for circuit design and validation.
• Analyze design flows and propose optimizations to maximize efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to EDA tools and methodologies.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members on EDA software usage.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and tool configurations.
• Create visual aids and diagrams to explain design processes.
• Seek opportunities for process improvements and innovation in tool development.
• Conduct performance testing on automation tools to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand project requirements.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of evolving EDA technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in EDA or semiconductor design roles

Technical Skills

• SystemVerilog

• Signal Integrity Analysis

Certifications

• Certified EDA Professional
• Certification in Semiconductor Design

Languages
