Job Description

Join our team as a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, where you will play a critical role in producing high-quality materials. You will be responsible for carefully monitoring furnace operations and maintaining safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Control the reduction furnace settings to achieve desired metal specifications.
• Conduct routine checks on furnace equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.
• Adjust furnace parameters as necessary to accommodate fluctuations in production.
• Work closely with the quality control team to uphold product standards.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions to ensure readiness for emergencies.
• Assist in developing and implementing best practices for furnace operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule repairs and upgrades.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Industrial Operations or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with specific reduction furnace models is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of furnace control software
• Knowledge of metallurgical processes

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ISO and quality standards: Familiarity with industry quality standards and practices.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment: Background in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
