Gasfitter

Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Gasfitter to handle the installation and maintenance of gas systems. Your role will ensure that all operations are safe and efficient, supporting a wide range of residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installations and repairs of gas piping systems in compliance with safety codes.
• Perform troubleshooting for gas leaks and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Stay updated with new gas-related technology and safety practices.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete complex installations.
• Document and report any issues or irregularities discovered during inspections.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• OSHA Certification

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience required in gas fitting.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with HVAC systems
• Problem Diagnosis

Soft Skills

• Strong work ethic
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Advanced Gas Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Strong understanding of safety regulations: Expertise in compliance with state and federal regulations regarding gas safety.
