Job Description

The Drywall and Ceiling Tile Installer will be a crucial member of our construction team, responsible for installing drywall and ceiling tiles in residential and commercial projects. Qualified candidates must have a solid background in drywall installation techniques and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for drywall installation and follow installation procedures strictly.
  • Ensure correct framing and moisture protection before installing drywall.
  • Perform finishing work which may include painting or texturing the drywall.
  • Conduct assessments of work and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools for installation tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalency
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or drywall installation
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of different types of drywall and their uses
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with insulation installation: Familiarity with methods and approaches for insulation within drywall applications.
  • Experience in finishing and painting drywalls: Ability to complete the finishing touches on drywall installations.
