Job Description

As a Cover Stitch Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cover stitch machines to produce high-quality garments. Your role will involve setting up machines for different garment styles, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating with the production team to optimize efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle machine setup, operation, and maintenance of cover stitch and similar sewing machines.
• Modify machine settings according to different fabric types and styles.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Document production quantities and report any machine issues to the supervisor.
• Engage in team meetings for continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training or certification in sewing or garment production is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience preferred in a manufacturing or garment production environment
