Job Description

Join us as a Farm and Home Management Educator, where you will be instrumental in creating educational initiatives that empower community members and farmers. You’ll provide guidance on effective farming practices, resource management, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and evaluation of agricultural education programs.
  • Train and mentor Extension agents in effective teaching strategies.
  • Conduct field visits to gather data and assess the needs of farmers.
  • Utilize technology to enhance educational outreach and resources.
  • Support youth programs in agriculture-related education.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to address complex agricultural issues.
  • Initiate community engagement campaigns for better outreach.
  • Support financial planning programs specific to agricultural practices.
  • Conduct needs assessments to align resources with community requirements.
  • Maintain records and documentation for educational programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Extension Education is a plus
