Sewing Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sewing Machine Operator to oversee the production of elastic bands. In this role, you'll be tasked with machine operation, maintenance, and quality checks to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine functions and make adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal productivity.
• Set up and adjust sewing machines or equipment as per job requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and measurements to ensure compliant production standards.
• Identify and communicate any machine malfunctions or quality issues promptly.
• Keep workspace clean and organized, adhering to company safety policies.
• Participate in training programs to enhance machine operation skills and safety knowledge.
• Contribute to team meetings and share ideas for improving efficiency.
• Help in the development of standard operating procedures for machine operation.
• Assist in onboarding new employees by providing training on machine operation.
• Document production activities and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Advantageous

• Experience with zigzag tunnel elastic machines: Prior experience operating zigzag tunnel machines is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles: Understanding of Lean principles can enhance efficiency in production.
