Job Description

We are looking for an Electromyographic Technician to join our dedicated healthcare team. The successful candidate will utilize electromyography to diagnose and manage neuromuscular disorders and injuries, working closely with physicians to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Support patients throughout the testing process and follow up on their care.
• Collaborate with other medical staff to enhance patient care.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology
• Credentialing by a recognized body is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.

Technical Skills

• Evoked potential testing
• EMG software proficiency

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Team coordination

Certifications

• Certified Neurodiagnostic Technologist (CNT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a hospital setting: Hands-on experience in a busy hospital context enhancing practical skills.
