Job Description

As a Locomotive Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, ensuring they run efficiently in various settings. Your troubleshooting skills will be key in diagnosing engine problems and implementing effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute diagnostic tests on diesel engines to identify issues and determine solutions.
  • Repair and maintain various diesel engines and machinery.
  • Upgrade systems with new technologies to improve fuel efficiency.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide superior service.
  • Collaborate with other departments for efficient service delivery.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills in diesel engine technology.
  • Document maintenance and repair processes in compliance with company standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Diesel Technology or related field
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the diesel engine industry
