Fireproof Door Maker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Fireproof Door Maker to join our fabrication team. This role involves the precise manufacturing and installation of fireproof doors across various settings, adhering to safety and building code regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes for new fireproof door designs.
• Testing of materials used to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Provide technical support during installations and address customer inquiries.
• Engage in training new employees on manufacturing and installation procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary training in manufacturing or construction.

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role or industry.

Technical Skills

• CNC machine operation
• Experience with CAD software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certification in fire door installation is strongly preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery.: Familiarity with operating machinery safely in a workshop setting.
• Additional certifications in carpentry or construction trades.: Preference for candidates with further certifications in relevant fields.
